I’m a strong proponent of giving every season and holiday its due. I don’t start wearing boots until the first day of fall. I don’t listen to Christmas music until the day after Thanksgiving. I don’t put up any Christmas decorations until at least December 1. I get excited when one of my favorite stores sticks up for my favorite holiday.
But doesn’t this make you want to go play in the snow and drink eggnog?

Last month, I had the opportunity to design a logo for the incredibly lovely and talented Amy of Amy Wing Designs. Amy and I met through one of my favorite clients, Carina, and Amy is a hand-crafted jewelry designer here in Portland. Her jewelry is my newest obsession — especially her eternity collection.
This week, Amy’s new venetian collection was featured on The Sweetest Occasion, and I’ve come back to swoon over it every day this week. Her pieces are classic and feminine and pair just as perfectly with jeans and a scarf as they do with a dress and heels. I know that it’s only the beginning of November and I’ve already pushed a Christmas outfit on you, but if you (like me) are starting to think about Christmas gifts, take a stroll through Amy’s look book.

It’s a bit early to be shopping for a Christmas outfit, but when things arrive at Anthropologie, how I can help it?
Button belted dress, Anthropologie; Sophia pearl necklace, Stella & Dot; Dove clutch, Hobo International (on Zappos).
